Jason is a native of Kansas City, having spent parts of his upbringing on both sides of the state line. He obtained a Bachelor of Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Kansas in 1995. Prior to earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in 2004, Jason worked in advertising, starting at Bernstein-Rein in Kansas City, then moving to Foote, Cone & Belding in Chicago, and culminating as a founding partner at IGLUE in Dallas. Jason focuses his legal practice in the areas of real estate law, litigation, and appellate practice. Specifically, Mr. Prier specializes in eminent domain law, tax appeals, land use law, development projects, landlord tenant law, commercial real estate transactions, and business litigation. Jason is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Douglas County Bar Association, the Judge Hugh Means Inn of Court, and the Missouri Bar, and he is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. Jason and his wife Kelly are active in their kids’ school activities and can often be found spectating at one or another of their kids’ sporting events.
